Antique American Victorian outside book scraper c1885. This antique American cast iron boot scraper retains its original paint.Measures 6 and one half inches high by 6 and one half inches wide by 1 inches thick. The base has two holes to allow it to be screwed down into wood,cement or stone. Boot scrapers were and are still used outside to the front and back doors of house so guests can scrap off an dirt or grime before coming into the house. They work beautifully and ever house should have one.
